Bygones
Established in Wisbech in 1993, Bygones aim is simple - to provide their loyal customers with honest, hearty homecooked food. Food that is prepared using local produce.
They have been at the heart of the town since they opened over 30 years ago, but 2022 has saw their rebirth, with a heart-felt move out of the town centre to Wisbech Town Football Club.
This move has allowed them to grow their business and they now hold Sunday Carvery and host events such as their popular Christmas Party Nights. (Build a Brand have attended and can say they are a fun night out with a great Christmas meal!)

Here's what our client was struggling with before we got involved.
Bygones is a family-run restaurant based at the home of Wisbech Town FC, serving the local community and visitors from across the area.
Having worked with Andy and the team for a number of years, we had already helped establish their online presence and build an engaged following on social media.
However, as the business continued to grow, the existing website no longer reflected the quality of the restaurant or the strong reputation it had built locally.
The website was beginning to feel dated and didn't fully represent the vibrant community that had formed around the business through social media and customer recommendations.

Through regular content, promotions, community-focused posts and showcasing the restaurant's food and atmosphere, we helped strengthen relationships with existing customers while introducing the business to new audiences across the local area.
As the business evolved, we undertook a complete redesign of the website, rebuilding it for a second time to create a fresh, modern look that better reflected the brand's growth and personality.
The new website was designed to improve the user experience, make key information easier to find and provide a professional online presence that matched the quality of the restaurant and the strong community engagement being generated through social media.
We also optimised their Google Business Profile and implemented a booking system directly through Google, making it even easier for customers to reserve a table.
