With over 35 years of experience, JD Catering Equipment Solutions LTD is your go-to for top-notch commercial kitchen equipment. As a family-run business, they specialise in supply, installation, servicing, and repairs.

The problem

Here's what our client was struggling with before we got involved.

JD Catering Equipment was operating as a traditional catalogue-led business, with no real online sales channel in place.

As customer behaviour shifted in 2020, relying on printed catalogues and manual ordering processes was becoming limiting. There was no scalable way to reach new customers, track performance or grow beyond their existing base.


As the business began moving online, the initial setup needed to evolve quickly. Product range, demand and expectations all increased, and the existing platform and structure weren’t built to handle that level of growth long term.


Alongside this, there was an opportunity to generate consistent revenue through paid advertising and organic search, but the foundations weren’t in place to do this effectively at scale.

What we did

Working closely with our client, we developed a tailored solution designed to support their goals, improve performance and create opportunities for future growth.

We started by bringing JD Catering online, transitioning them from a catalogue-based business to a fully functional ecommerce website.


As the business grew, we supported a full platform migration to Shopify, giving them a more scalable, flexible system that could handle their expanding product range and increasing demand.


From there, we focused on growth.


We launched and continue to manage their Google Ads campaigns, building a strategy focused on high-intent product searches. This has allowed them to consistently capture demand from customers actively looking for commercial catering equipment, driving strong return on ad spend.


Alongside paid activity, we implemented an ongoing SEO strategy, shifting focus away from trying to optimise thousands of individual product pages and instead building out content clusters and buying guides. This approach strengthens their authority in key product categories and supports long-term organic growth.


We continue to work closely with their team, providing ongoing support across SEO, paid advertising and general website improvements to ensure the site keeps evolving as the business grows.
